At House Rescue Incorporated our primary core business function is property renovations and restoration. Did you know that one vacant property in a neighborhood can lower the property values of the surrounding homes by as much as 40%? Vacant and Abandoned properties are often magnets for illegal dumping and criminal activity. By acquiring these properties and establishing stakeholders to "defend the space" we are able to help begin the transformation of almost any neighborhood.

Our property renovations serve a twofold purpose within our organization. When we hire licensed contractors to perform essential functions, we are able to have our students observe the process and sometimes assist with the work to give them real world exposure to the building trades that they might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience. We are also able to create temporary employment and business opportunities for members of the Community which helps support and stimulate the local economy.
